Giant Straw Animals Invade Japanese Fields After The Harvest

In Japan For the 2015 festival. The Japanese people make a wara art festival after the harvest finish. This festival is held every year on the 31st of August near Niigata and it’s also known as Star Art Festival. The good people of Niigata made many different giant straw animals as a dinosaur, a snake, a big crab, a fiercest predator and straw rubber duck for the festival. Amy Goda is an aspiring local artist that has gained fame for her spectacular rice-straw dinosaur sculptures and it’s so famous online. Visitors can visit these unique sculptures and go to Uwasekigata Park in Niigata City’s Nishikan Ward until the beginning of November.
