A Man Plants 400 Acres Of Sunflowers To Fund Cancer Research For His wife’s Hope

Babbette Jaquish lived in a community in the Eau Claire. She was known as the “Sunflower Lady”. She planted many sunflowers in this community. She hoped to sell the seed of sunflowers to fun cancer research. Jaquish told ABC News that she know the importance of research in clinical trials. She went from being expected live two weeks to two months to nine years. She started and operated a business when she was so sick. But she wasn’t enough success and then she died last November after a long battle with cancer. After she died her husband, Don Jaquish decided to fulfill her dreams. He planted 400 acres of sunflowers and sold the seed to increase money for cancer research. He ‘s so happy for what he can fulfill his wife’s dreams.
